Giants Claim Left-Handed Pitcher Off Waivers
It's his third team this season.
The San Francisco Giants have claimed pitcher Andrew Vasquez off waivers from the Philadelphia Phillies.

The #SFGiants have claimed LHP Andrew Vasquez off waivers from the Phillies. Vasquez will report to Triple-A Sacramento.
OF Steele Walker has been designated for assignment.
The Phillies claimed Vasquez off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays on August 02 and, on August 15, designated him for assignment.
The twenty-eight-year-old left-handed pitcher spent only a couple weeks at Triple-A Lehigh Valley and clearly did not impress the Phillies organization enough to keep him around.

Vasquez comes to San Francisco, bringing with him a career 8.10 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 13 innings with the Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays.
