Cleveland Guardians Designate Outfielder For Assignment

The Cleveland Guardians are continuing to make roster moves, as Alex Call has been designated for assignment.

Call was recently called up to the Guardians' major league roster and appeared in his first 12 MLB games as a result of this. During them, he went 2-for-12 at the plate, so he wasn't particularly dominant. As a result of this, the team has opted to remove him from their 40-man roster.

Call will likely be placed on waivers from here. It will be intriguing to see if another club is willing to take a chance on the rookie outfielder. Time will tell on that front.
