Arizona Diamondbacks Designate Pitcher For Assignment

The Arizona Diamondbacks have designated Paul Fry for assignment.

Fry made just one appearance for the Diamondbacks since joining them from the Baltimore Orioles. In 13 games split between the two clubs in 2022, he has a 0-0 record to go along with a 6.08 ERA. Overall, he has had some troubles when called upon, so perhaps one could have predicted this DFA.

Teams looking for a bit of pitching depth could look to give Fry a call. Keep in mind, he had a very solid 2.45 ERA in 22 appearances for the O's back in 2020.
