MLB Rumors: Marlins Shopping Reliever

At this point of the season, the Marlins look like they aren't going to be playing postseason baseball. As a result of this, they are expected to be sellers at the deadline. One pitcher who is starting to gain trade interest because of this is Anthony Bass.

Bass' trade value is definitely at its highest, as he is having the best season of his long career. In 40 games, he sports a 1-3 record but also an immensely impressive 1.36 ERA. Overall, it's fair to say that he has been quite reliable when called upon, and playoff teams would love to have that in their bullpen.

In 327 career games between the Padres, Astros, Rangers, Cubs, Mariners, Blue Jays, and Marlins, he has a 13-28 record and 4.01 ERA.
