MLB Rumors: A Dodgers Offer That Could Land Juan Soto

With chants of "Future Dodger" raining down on him from the Los Angeles Dodger faithful during the All-Star Game, where better to start our series on trade packages that could land Washinton Nationals superstar Juan Soto, than right in Los Angeles.

The Dodgers pulled off a massive deadline deal for another couple of Nationals superstars at last season's deadline, so why not again?

The Offer:

This package could provide a mix of major league and minor league talent, starting with former top prospect (and still promising young 24-year-old) Gavin Lux

Playing a combination of second base, shortstop and left field for the Dodgers, Lux could fill any number of needs the Nationals have. He's finally starting to fulfill his promise, hitting .292 this season, with a .785 OPS.

The Dodgers can also add some primo prospects from a loaded farm system, such as one of their top right-handers, Bobby Miller (Dodgers No. 2 prospect) or Ryan Pepiot (No. 6), plus another couple of young position players, such as the team's No. 3 prospect, infielder Michael Busch and No. 4 prospect, outfielder Andy Pages.  Busch demolished Double-A this season to the tune of a 1.112 OPS, and is now at Triple-A. Pages is currently at Double-A, with 15 HR and 48 RBIs.
