Reds Infielder Set To Make Season Debut

Donovan Solano has missed the entirety of the 2022 season thus far due to a hamstring injury. Yet, he is now set to make both his season and Reds debut, as he has been activated off the 60-day injured list.

Solano inked a deal with the Reds during the offseason and has the potential to be a solid signing. In 101 games last season with the Giants, the veteran infielder had seven home runs, 31 RBIs, and a .280 batting average.

All eyes will be on Solano as he begins his tenure with the Reds. If he can put up good numbers, perhaps he will end up being a trade candidate for the selling Reds at the deadline.
