The Texas Rangers placed Eli White on the ten-day injured list today.

The outfielder will be sidelined for the next week and a half with a fractured wrist. The injury came during the Rangers' last game against the Chicago White Sox when White and left-fielder Charlie Culberson collided while pursuing a fly ball.

Eli White is batting .200 this season, has 3 homeruns, 10 RBIs, and leads the Rangers with 12 stolen bases.

Leody Taveras has been called up from Triple-A Round Rock, where he has batted .294, with 7 homeruns, and 29 RBIs in 49 games.
