Rangers Catcher Sent Down To Triple-A

The Texas Rangers have sent Sam Huff down to Triple-A.

Huff has had a decent year in the majors, so one could argue that this move is a little bit surprising. In 27 games on the year thus far, he has one home run, five RBIs, and a .282 batting average. Triple-A Round Rock will be happy to have him back, however, as he has seven home runs and 15 RBIs in only 19 games so far with them this season.

Alas, Huff will now be looking to continue his strong play in Triple-A in hopes of landing another call-up to the majors from here.
