Padres Pitcher Heading Back To Triple-A

'

The San Diego Padres have sent Reiss Knehr back down to Triple-A.

Knehr appeared in two games for the Padres during his call-up and looked solid. In 6.2 innings pitched, he allowed just three hits. With that, he did not surrender a single run.

With Knehr leaving a good impression, don't be surprised to see the Padres end up giving him another shot at the major league roster before the season is out. It will be interesting to see what occurs on that front.
