MLB Rumors: Padres Shopping Outfielder

The San Diego Padres are looking to make upgrades to their roster as they prepare for the postseason. Yet, they do not have the most money to work with, so Wil Myers' name is once again coming up in the rumor mill.

Myers has had a rough 2022 season with San Diego, so perhaps fans shouldn't be too surprised that the Padres are open to moving him. In 32 games, he has one home run, 19 RBIs, and a .234 batting average. That kind of production at the plate is far too low for a player set to make $20 million in 2023.

It will be intriguing to see if the Padres can find a team to bite on Myers' contract.
