Mariners Catcher Placed On Injured List

The Seattle Mariners have placed Luis Torrens on the 10-day injured list.

Torrens has played in 36 games for the Mariners this season, where he has zero home runs, eight RBIs, and a .222 batting average. Overall, it's been a fairly quiet campaign for the 26-year-old. This is especially true when remembering that he had 15 home runs in 108 games last season.

The Mariners will be hoping that Torrens is able to return as soon as this stint on the 10-day IL passes. Time will tell what happens on that front.
