MLB Rumors: Diamondbacks To Trade Veteran Pitcher

The Arizona Diamondbacks currently have a 29-33 record and have a lot of ground to catch if they hope to be playing postseason baseball. If this trend continues as the deadline gets closer, don't be surprised to see Madison Bumgarner moved, according to Jon Heyman.

Bumgarner has two more years left after this one on his contract, so any team that acquires him would have to be okay with him being more than a rental. Although he isn't the star he once was, he is still a very solid option for the middle of a playoff team's rotation.

In 13 starts this season, he may have a 2-6 record, but he also has a solid 3.50 ERA. Alas, keep an eye on the MadBum sweepstakes as we get deeper into the summer heat.
