Mets Sign Veteran Outfielder

The New York Mets have signed Ender Inciarte to a minor league contract.

Inciarte was released by the New York Yankees earlier this week after spending the entirety of this campaign down in Triple-A. With the Mets, he will be hoping for the chance to get back into major league action. He will first need to impress them to earn a call-up.

Inciarte's strong resume could allow him to get a chance with the Mets. In 857 career games, he has 42 home runs, 263 RBIs, and a .280 batting average. With that, he is also a three-time Gold Glove Award winner and one-time All-Star.
