Cubs Pitcher Heading Back To Injured List

On Friday, the Chicago Cubs activated Wade Miley from the injured list. Yet, it was short-lived, as the veteran starter has once again been placed on the 15-day IL with a shoulder strain.

Perhaps this could have been predicted, as Miley left his last start after just three innings. He looked solid during them, however, as he did not surrender a run.

With the Cubs looking like sellers this trade deadline, seeing Miley get injured definitely is not ideal. He could be one of their top trading pieces, but they need him to get healthy before that can have any chance of happening.

In four starts this season, Miley has a 1-0 record and 2.84 ERA.
