Angels Pitcher Placed On Injured List

The Los Angeles Angels have placed Jimmy Herget on the 15-day injured list due to a shoulder injury. 

Herget has had a pretty decent season with the Angels thus far in 2022. In 25 games, he sports a 2-1 record to go along with a 3.72 ERA. Although he hasn't been perfect, it's clear that he offers pretty solid reliability when called upon.

The Angels currently have a 34-38 record and are trying to fight for a Wild Card spot. Thus, they will be hoping that Herget can return to the mound as soon as this stint on the 15-day IL is completed.
