Brewers Outright Pitcher

Last week, the Milwaukee Brewers designated Dylan File. Now that he has cleared waivers, the Brewers have outrighted him to Triple-A Nashville.

With this, File will continue his season with Nashville, rather than find a new home elsewhere. In eight games this season down in Triple-A, he has a 2-1 record to go along with a 4.10 ERA. He will now be looking to put together a strong campaign from here, as it could help his chances of being placed on the Brewers' 40-man roster again. Who knows, maybe he could even be called up.

With File being 25 years old, he still has time to progress from here. It is a little surprising that another team wouldn't take a chance on him, but alas, he will still be in Milwaukee's system.
