Angels Infielder Designated For Assignment

The Los Angeles Angels have designated Jose Rojas for assignment.

Rojas appeared in seven games for the Angels this season, where he has zero home runs, one RBI, and a .130 batting average. Overall, it's been a rough year for him when called upon, so this DFA could have been predicted.

With this decision, the Angels now have to either trade or place Rojas on waivers over the next week. He is a player who get some interest around the league, as he can play second base, third base, and in the outfield. In 68 career games, he has six home runs, 16 RBIs, and a .199 batting average.
