Reds Infielder Set To Return

The Cincinnati Reds are getting the 2021 NL Rookie of the Year back in their lineup, as the team has activated Jonathan India from the injured list.

Although the Reds have a 3-13 record and are at the bottom of the league, it's still important for India to be healthy. This is because the youngster has the potential to be a star in this league and needs to continue to get experience. His rookie campaign couldn't have gone much better, of course, as he had 21 home runs, 69 RBIs, and a .269 batting average.

India has been off to a bit of a slower start in 2022, however. In seven games thus far, he has zero home runs, two RBIs, and a .241 batting average. Yet, thankfully he is now healthy and ready to help improve his numbers. Don't be surprised to see him put together a strong season from here.
