Video: The Catch of the Year! This is Home Run Robbery!

Cedric Mullins has had a breakthrough season for the Baltimore Orioles at the plate.

And he's not too shabby in center field, either. Witness what has got to be the catch of the year, as he robbed Gary Sanchez of the New York Yankees in the 2nd inning Wednesday night:

Mullins leapt several feet over the wall to commit highway robbery on Sanchez, who simply couldn't believe what he just saw. He can be seen saying "wow!" as he walked off the field.

Mullins is batting right around .300, with 29 home runs, 28 stolen bases, a .900 OPS, and he notched his first All-Star game nod. He has been a sensation at the plate.

The 26-year-old started his season with an 11-game hitting streak, and hasn't looked back since.

Combine all of that offense with his solid defense in center field, and that makes him a shoo-in for "breakout of the year" in the outfield.

And now, add "Catch of the Year" to his 2021 resume as well.
