Uniforms Unveiled for Field of Dreams Game

On August 12th, one week from now, the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox will take part in MLB's "Field of Dreams Game" in Dyersville, Iowa - which was the set location for the famous 1989 movie Field of Dreams, starring Kevin Costner, Ray Liotta and James Earl Jones.

On Thursday, MLB unveiled the uniforms that will be worn by both teams, which were inspired by jerseys worn in the early 20th century. The Yankees' jerseys are gray with "New York" in navy blue lettering in an arc across the chest. There's no trim on the sleeves of the jerseys, and their hats will have a loose-knit version of the team's usual interlocking "NY."

The White Sox jerseys are white with navy blue pinstripes, with a vintage bold "SOX" monogram on the left side of the chest. Chicago's hats for the game will match the jerseys: plain white with navy pinstripes and no logo.
One of the many sites and attractions specifically built for the game is a corn maze, which is located behind the right field fence.

Amongst other interesting items surrounding the game - there will be a manually operated scoreboard, bullpens placed behind the centerfield fence (to replicate Old Comiskey Park) and Kevin Costner will reportedly throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
