NY Mets Sign Free Agent Outfielder After DFA'ing 13-Year Veteran
The New York Mets have made some moves in their outfield. 13-year veteran journeyman Tommy Pham was designated for assignment on Sunday and they've now gone out and signed free agent Austin Slater.
The Mets, after releasing schedule that manager Carlos Mendoza will talk to the media at his usual time Tuesday, announce that OF Austin Slater has signed one-year contract to replace OF Tommy Pham, who’s designated for assignment, and claim IF Eric Wagaman from the Twins.
