MLB Rumors: Braves Linked to 2X All-Star Starting Pitcher
The Atlanta Braves have had a solid start to the season, as they have an 8-5 record and are at the top of the National League East standings. They have also won each of their last two games, so they have been continuing to trend in the right direction.
However, even with the Braves having a strong start to the campaign, there are some red flags when it comes to their roster. They are dealing with some significant injury trouble when it comes to their pitching, and they should be looking to add another starter to their roster because of it.
Due to this, they are being linked to a notable free agent pitcher during the early part of the 2026 season.
In an article for Bleacher Report, Zachary D. Rymer named the Braves a potential landing spot for two-time All-Star pitcher Marcus Stroman.
With the Braves dealing with injury trouble and Stroman being one of the best pitchers still available for the taking, it is understandable that they are being viewed as a potential landing spot for them. If signed, Stroman would give the Braves another solid starter option to work with and simply more depth.
Stroman struggled this past season with the New York Yankees, as he had a 3-2 record and a 6.23 ERA in nine appearances. However, he has had plenty of success in the past, and he could be a decent pitcher for the Braves to take a gamble on. Let's see if they do just that.
