Detroit Tigers Acquire Veteran Outfielder From Milwaukee

The Detroit Tigers have built up a solid young squad over the past 18 months, with some talented young players that signal the future of this organization now that Miguel Cabrera has retired, and now, they've got the off-season moves started early.

Just a few days after the World Series came to an end, the Tigers made a deal with the Milwaukee Brewers to land a solid veteran, as they sent pitching prospect Blake Holub the other way in exchange for Mark Canha.

In 2023, Canha split his time between the Brewers and the Mets, playing in 139 games, tallying a .262 batting average with 11 home runs and 62 RBI, and with his versatility in the outfield, he could be a key piece for this team in 2024, especially if they can add more talent to this up-and-coming squad.
