Report: Texas Rangers To Promote Top Prospect

 

The Texas Rangers started 2023 hot, and while they've faltered as of late, they're still within striking distance of a playoff spot, and with just over three weeks left in the 2023 season, it's now or never for the team to turn it around quickly.

Now, they're going to put their trust in another top prospect, as they are officially promoting their top prospect Evan Carter, with the 21-year old replacing Adolis Garcia on the roster, who heads to the Injured List.

In 88 games this season between rookie ball, AA and AAA, Carter has hit .288 with 13 home runs and 87 RBI, and given the impact we've seen other rookies make immediately in 2023, this could be the spark that pushes them to a playoff spot.
