Tampa Bay Rays Star Calls Out Yankees After Latest Scuffle

 

The New York Yankees seemingly have a heated rivalry with every team in the American League East division, and on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays, we saw tempers flare once again as the teams engaged in another scuffle. 

After plunking Randy Arozerana, the two teams came together, but after getting the last laugh, Rays slugger Brandon Lowe had this to say: "Looking at it, it’s a last-place team against a team that’s in contention. They’re just trying to ignite something over there… Not worth our time at this moment. We’re focused on bigger things right now."

It's safe to say there's no love lost between these two teams, and after these latest comments, their next matchup should be very fun indeed, but for now, the Rays are on top, and it appears they're not ready to give up that mantle to New York again.
