Baltimore Orioles Star Pitcher Suffers UCL Injury

 

The Baltimore Orioles have been the story of the entire 2023 MLB season, and with such a young roster, there's no doubting they'll be successful for a long time to come, with one of the biggest of those pieces being reliever Felix Bautista.

Unfortunately, in his last outing, Bautista left the game with an arm injury, and it has now been confirmed that he suffered "some degree of injury" to his UCL, which could mean very, very bad news for the 26-year old.

Bautista has arguably been baseball's best reliever in 2023, posting an 8-2 record with a 1.48 ERA and 33 saves over 61 innings of work, and if the Orioles are to make it deep in the playoffs, they'll need him healthy, so a positive update will do wonders for them if it comes.
