Report: Milwaukee Brewers Land Veteran Power Bat

 

The Milwaukee Brewers may be overshadowed by the young, electrifying Cincinnati Reds in 2023, but they still find themselves sitting in first place in the NL Central, and now, they've made a massive addition ahead of the 2023 MLB Trade Deadline.

On Thursday, it was confirmed that the Brewers are acquiring Carlos Santana from the Pittsburgh Pirates, and after a few down seasons, it appears they may be getting the best version of Santana as this NL Central race heats up down the stretch.

In 94 games for the Pirates this year, Santana has bounced back in a big way, hitting .235 with 12 home runs and 53 RBI, and if he can continue that form in Milwaukee, he will become an incredibly valuable middle of the order bat for this team that appear ready to got a big run.
