Oakland Athletics Claim Pitcher Off Waivers From Padres

This indicates that he has the potential to regain his form and make a positive impact for the Athletics in the latter half of the 2023 season.

The Athletics recognize that Felipe's high strikeout rates and ability to induce ground balls make him an intriguing addition to their bullpen.

They have the luxury of time to allow him to develop further, as he still has an option year remaining beyond this season.
