Rookie Pitcher Makes Seattle Mariners History

The Seattle Mariners have become a very fun team to watch in recent years with the emergence of young star Julio Rodriguez, but with depth to go along with that star power, they now have their eyes set on some very lofty goals in 2023.

Now, they've got some more emerging young players, as rookie pitcher Bryce Miller made history in his MLB debut today, racking up 10 strikeouts in his six innings pitched, the most ever in a debut in Seattle Mariners history.

The 24-year old is the Mariners No. 2 prospect, and was expected to make the leap this season, and if he can continue performances like this, the team may have found themselves a star to anchor this rotation for years to come.
