Oakland Athletics Rumors: 3 Trade Candidates

The Oakland A's are the worst team in baseball, and this is exactly what management was hoping for. When noting that they have an 8-31 record, it is apparent that they will be sellers at the trade deadline. As a result, let's go over three players who they could trade.

Seth Brown: Seth Brown is one of Oakland's biggest trade targets heading into the deadline. The power hitter is currently sidelined due to injury, but he is inching closer to his return. The A's were listening to offers for him during the offseason and are expected to again when looking at how poorly they are playing this year.

Jesus Aguilar: Jesus Aguilar is a player to pay attention to as we get closer to the deadline. The veteran first baseman is a pending UFA and has been off to a solid start in Oakland. In 30 games, he has five home runs, nine RBIs, and a .256 batting average. When noting that he had 28 home runs last year and 46 the year before, he is the kind of player that playoff teams should target if they want more power.

Tony Kemp: Tony Kemp is another player on the A's who they have been actively shopping since the offseason. He has struggled this season, but there should still be a market for him when noting that he can play second base and the outfield. Thus, he could be a good depth player for a playoff club.
