Minnesota Twins Preparing To Activate Two Key Players From IL

The Minnesota Twins are off to a solid start in 2023, holding a tight one game lead in the American League Central as June approaches, and now, reinforcements appear to be on the way, as two of their most important players are being activated ahead of Monday's clash with the Houston Astros.

First off is outfielder Max Kepler, who will be activated from the 10-day, and after a solid start to the year that saw him hit .212 with 6 home runs and 14 RBI, he is crucial to this lineup with his ability to hit right handed pitching, so keep an eye on his production going forward.

Next, and more interestingly will mark the return of young Royce Lewis, who underwent his second career ACL surgery a year ago, causing him to miss plenty of time, and after playing in just 56 games since the end of the 2019 minor league campaign, it will be interesting to see how he adjusts to major league pitching.
