Injury Update On Houston Astros Superstar In Return From Injury

After so much success in recent years, the Houston Astros have put a big target on their back, and with some key players missing time early in the season, they've certainly struggled to maintain that elite pace, but now, things could be getting better.

After suffering a thumb injury in the World Baseball Classic, superstar second baseman JoseAltuve was targeting a late May return to baseball, and now, he has begun swinging a bat two weeks sooner than expected, with a potential minor league rehab start coming as soon as this week.

At 17-17 in fourth place in the American League West, the Astros could use a big boost, and if they can get Altuve back in the lineup before June, this is certainly a squad that's still ready to go on a very deep post-season run.
