Toronto Blue Jays Rumors: 3 Early-Season Trade Candidates

Welcome to Baseball Rumors' Early-Season Trade Candidates series. During it, we will be looking at three players who are already emerging as trade candidates during the beginning portion of the campaign.

In this latest piece, we will be looking at the Toronto Blue Jays.

Cavan Biggio: Cavan Biggio's name has come up in the rumor mill in the past, and it likely will again as we inch closer to the deadline. He has had trouble cementing himself as an everyday player, and it could lead to him being added in a deal if it helps land Toronto a high-impact player for the postseason.

Orelvis Martinez: The Blue Jays could move a notable prospect like Orelvis Martinez before the deadline if it leads to them landing a player who will make an impact immediately. Teams would love to take a chance on him, as he has the potential to blossom into an everyday player later down the road.

Sem Robberse: Sem Robberse is an intriguing pitching prospect who the Blue Jays could also move this season. They have other pitching prospects with expected higher ceilings, so he could be on the move for the right price.
