San Francisco Giants Reinstate Young Catcher

The San Francisco Giants are off to a slow start in the 2023 MLB season, with a 4-5 record through their first three series of the year, and thus far, injuries have played a major factor, with several crucial pieces missing from their lineup.

One name that they hope to be a star in this lineup one day is catcher Joey Bart, who was tabbed to be the replacement to legendary catcher Buster Posey, but so far in his career, he has struggled to live up to those lofty expectations, and he began this season on the injured list.

Ahead of their showdown against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Giants officially activated Bart to the active roster, and while the offence has been clicking, the Giants need Bart to progress if he is to be the catcher they were hoping for, so expect to see him back in the lineup soon.
