San Francisco Giants Agree To Contract Extension With Star Pitcher

The San Francisco Giants have been in a slump in recent years (with 2021 being the obvious exception), as they look to chase the success they had in the early 2010's, and to do that, they will look to replicate the success those teams had on the mound.

Early on Friday, the team have announced that they agreed to a five-year extension with home grown star pitcher Logan Webb, who has grown from his breakout 2021 campaign into being one of the best and perhaps most underrated pitchers in the entire league.

The 26-year old is now entering his prime years with career numbers of 31-22 with a 3.53 ERA, and while the numbers aren't flattering, his 2021 and 2022 numbers are elite, with a 26-12 record and sub-3 ERA, so if he can continue to build as a leader in the clubhouse, he will blossom into a star in the MLB.
