Chicago White Sox Rumors: 3 Early-Season Trade Candidates

Welcome to Baseball Rumors' Early-Season Trade Candidates series. During it, we will be looking at three players who are already emerging as trade candidates during the beginning portion of the campaign.

In this latest installment of the series, we will be discussing the Chicago White Sox.

Tim Anderson: If the White Sox struggle again this season, it could open the door for them to move Tim Anderson. Anderson has been linked to the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the White Sox could move him when noting that he is inching closer to his unrestricted free-agent status (2025). However, for this to happen, things this season would need to go sour.

Lucas Giolito: The White Sox are looking to move Lucas Giolito after his rough 2022 season. Although he struggled last season, the 6-foot-6 righty could get some interest around the league when noting his past success. After all, he is a former All-Star who had success not too long ago.

Yasmani Grandal: Yasmani Grandal is in the final season of his contract, and he will be a prime rental candidate if the White Sox are not a playoff team come deadline time. The two-time All-Star would surely have a market, as teams are always looking to improve their catching depth.
