Tampa Bay Rays: 2 Trade Candidates Heading to Opening Day

Although the Tampa Bay Rays have had good seasons over the last handful of years, they have become famous for trading notable talent due to their limited funds. This is a trend that we will likely see continue this season, as they have two trade candidates heading to Opening Day.

Tyler Glasnow: Tyler Glasnow has been discussed in the rumor mill as of late, and it ultimately makes sense when noting the Rays' past history with trades. Furthermore, the All-Star pitcher is also eligible to be an unrestricted free agent in 2025, so Tampa Bay could very well take advantage of his high trade value and land a nice assortment of prospects and young MLB players for him.

Randy Arozarena: Randy Aroarena's name emerged in the rumor mill at the beginning of this offseason, but at the time of this writing, he remains a Ray. When noting that Arozarena's trade value is also at its highest, we should not be surprised if the Rays decide to move him - whether that is before Opening Day or near the trade deadline.
