Headed to California.

The San Francisco Giants have signed first baseman Connor Cannon to a minor-league contract.

Cannon spent the 2022 season with Single-A Tampa, the New York Yankees' affiliate, recording a .165/.299/.307 triple-slash line, with five home runs, 11 RBIs and 14 runs scored over 43 games.

He is a former 17th-round pick by the Giants in the 2019 MLB Draft.

The twenty-four-year-old holds a career .248/.346/.496 triple-slash line, with 18 home runs, 50 RBIs and 46 runs scored across 80 games in the minors.

He adds to the Giants' low-level organizational depth.
