San Diego Padres Sign Pitcher

The San Diego Padres have made a depth move, as they have signed Jake Sanchez to a minor league contract.

During this point of the offseason, we often see teams add to their pitching depth as they gear up for spring training. This is exactly what the Padres are doing with this move, and now Sanchez will be aiming to impress San Diego during camp because of it. 

Sanchez spent this past season in the Mexican League with Sultanes de Monterrey, where he had a 7-4 record and 6.26 ERA in 45 games. With the Padres organization in 2023, he will be hoping for more success.
