Injury Update On Colorado Rockies Starting Pitcher

He underwent surgery back in September.

Colorado Rockies starter Antonio Senzatela is expected to be ready to return to the club's rotation at some point in May.

Senzatela underwent surgery to repair the torn ACL in his right knee back in September and was originally given a recovery timeline of six-to-eight months.

So far, everything appears to be going smoothly for the twenty-eight-year-old and he should be able to return to the rotation when expected.

Thus far, over his six-year career, Senzatela holds a 4.88 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, with 447 strikeouts across 672 innings of work.

He's spent all six of his seasons with the Rockies, and it would be interesting to see how he would fare not having to pitch a vast majority of his games in Colorado.
