Atlanta Braves Outfielder Gives Update On Eye Issues

Atlanta Braves outfielder Eddie Rosario appears to be making a strong impression on his team during spring training.

Despite struggling with vision issues last year that resulted in underwhelming offensive numbers, Rosario underwent laser surgery after spring training and now reports that his vision issues are completely resolved.

Braves manager Brian Snitker and hitting coach Kevin Seitzer have both been impressed with Rosario's performance in camp, with Snitker remarking that he's "not even the same guy" compared to last season.

Rosario will have an opportunity to showcase his skills with Team Puerto Rico in the upcoming World Baseball Classic before returning to the Braves' lineup.

With his vision issues behind him, Rosario will aim to make a strong impact for the reigning NL East champions in the upcoming season.

Since joining the Braves in 2021, the thirty-one-year-old holds a .279/.396/.675 triple-slash line, with 12 home runs, 40 RBIs, five stolen bases and 40 runs scored across 113 games. Photo Credit:  Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports
