Texas Rangers Sign Veteran Pitcher

The Texas Rangers have made a minor move, as they have signed veteran pitcher Ian Kennedy to a minor league deal.

Kennedy spent this past season with the Arizona Diamondbacks, where he had a 4-7 record to go along with a 5.36 ERA in 57 games. Needless to say, it was not a very good season for the 16-year veteran, but now he will be hoping to redeem himself with the Rangers in 2023.

Kennedy played for the Ranges during the 2021 season, where he had a 2.51 ERA in 32 games. Perhaps his past success with Texas will lead him to receive consideration to have his contract selected to the majors for Opening Day.
