Texas Rangers Sign Outfielder

Not done with him yet.

The Texas Rangers are bringing back outfielder Sandro Fabian on a minor-league contract.

This past season, between Double-A Frisco and Triple-A Round Rock, Fabian slashed just .245/.313/.455, with 16 home runs, 56 RBIs, two stolen bases and 60 runs scored over 101 games.

The twenty-four-year-old has labored for six years in the minor leagues without having made his major league debut yet.

For his time in the minors, Fabian holds a .259/.309/.722 triple-slash line, with 64 home runs, 320 RBIs, 16 stolen bases and 296 runs scored over 586 games played.

Fabian will really have to step it up this year if he wants to finally make his major league debut.

The fact that the Rangers re-signed him shows that they still believe he has something to offer.
