San Francisco Giants Sign Catcher
The San Francisco Giants have signed Brett Cumberland to a minor league contract.
Cumberland split this past season between Triple-A, Single-A+, and ROK, where he had four home runs, 22 RBIs, and a .230 batting average in 47 games. Overall, it was a year of mixed results for the catcher, but now he will be hoping for more consistency as a Giant from here.
Nevertheless, let's see if Cumberland can make the majors with San Francisco from here.
