New York Mets Sign Pitcher

The New York Mets have added to their death as they have signed TJ McFarland to a minor-league contract.

Although McFarland had to settle for a minor-league deal, he is a pitcher that comes with a decent amount of MLB experience. As a result of this, it does not seem too out of the question that he could make their roster if he impresses at spring training. Yet, at a minimum, he will serve as a decent call-up option for when injuries occur during the season.

We will have to wait and see if McFarland can find his way onto the Mets' major league roster for the start of the season. If not, don’t be surprised to see him get into some action for the Mets as the year goes on.
