MLB Rumors: Boston Red Sox Shopping Outfielder

The Boston Red Sox are not done making moves this offseason, as they are listening to offers for outfielder Jarren Duran.

Duran has had trouble cementing himself as an everyday MLB player with the Red Sox, so a change of scenery may be exactly what allows him to change that. He certainly could be an appealing option for rebuilding teams looking to take a chance on a prospect who has some upside, so a trade market could surely form for him. Furthermore, Duran could be a piece added in a deal that allows the Red Sox to make an upgrade elsewhere on their roster.

We will need to keep an eye on the Duran sweepstakes from here, as it seems likely that he will find a new home once we get closer to spring training. Alas, time will tell if it does in fact come to fruition from here.
