Minnesota Twins Sign Catcher

Bringing him back.

The Minnesota Twins have signed catcher Chance Sisco to a minor league contract.

Sisco provides the Twins with some emergency catching depth for the 2023 season.

The twenty-seven-year-old did not make an appearance in the majors last season, but posted a .194/.297/.652 triple-slash line, with one home run, three RBIs and four runs scored over 31 at-bats.

The former top prospect holds a career .197/.317/.337 triple slash line, with 16 home runs, 54 RBIs, one stolen base and 61 runs scored over 196 games played. He's spent time with the Baltimore Orioles and the New York Mets.

Sisco is a former second-round pick of the Orioles in the 2013 MLB Draft.

He holds a strong .296/.379/.805 slash line for his minor-league career.
