Kansas City Royals Sign Pitcher

Joining the Kansas City Royals.

The Royals have signed pitcher Taylor Bloye to a minor-league contract.

Bloye split last season between the Lake Country DockHounds and Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks of the independent American Association, posting a brutal 7.96 ERA, 2.01 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts over 37.1 innings of work.

In the 2021 season, spent with the Royals' minor-league system, Bloye recorded a 6.31 ERA, 1.74 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts over 35.2 innings.

The Royals must see something they like in the twenty-seven-year-old and will look to put his career back on track.
