Full List Of Available Free Agent Relievers

It may seem like all the free agents are gone, but looking at the list of relief options, there are still a number of arms that could help teams. Some have a big "if" attached to them, no doubt, but there are a lot of these have some solid potential.

Here's a full list of the top available relievers on the market as of Friday morning, January 20th:

Andrew Chafin

According the last count, there are eight teams bidding on the lefty's services. He's had two outstanding seasons in a row, and could be a key piece to any team's bullpen.

Michael Fullmer

The former Detroit Tigers starter-turned-reliever has been a revelation in the bullpen the last couple of seasons. Still just 29, the RHP had 14 saves and a 2.97 ERA for Detroit in 2021, and a 3.39 ERA for the Tigers and Minnesota Twins last season.

Zack Britton

A two-time All-Star who led the league in saves (47) in 2016. He's been linked to the New York Mets because their current manager (Buck Showalter) just happens to have been Britton's dugout boss in Baltimore during his All-Star years. Injuries, however, wrecked and practically wiped out his last two seasons.

The Best Of The Rest:

  • Will Smith
  • Matt Moore
  • Corey Knebel
  • Brad Hand
  • Alex Colomé
  • Alex Reyes
  • Ian Kennedy
  • Archie Bradley
  • Trevor Rosenthal
Down seasons, age and injuries have affected most of the above, but given good health and a chance to redeem themselves, any of these could be a bargain if things break just right.
