Colorado Rockies Sign Outfielder

An interesting addition by the Colorado Rockies.

The Rockies have signed outfielder Jake Snider to a minor-league contract.

Snider spent two seasons in the Pittsburgh Pirates' minor league system before spending last year with the Lake Country DockHounds of the independent American Association where he finished with a fantastic .303/.406/.457 triple-slash line, with nine home runs and 17 stolen bases.

The twenty-four-year-old will get another shot this season with the Rockies.

For his minor league career, Snider holds a strong .323/.457/.855 triple-slash line, with one home run, seven RBIs, three stolen bases and 24 runs scored over 93 at-bats.

He is a former 20th-round pick of the Pirates in the 2019 MLB Draft.
